Hello everyone out there in blog land - I hope i find you well?  I have FINALLY got a new SD card for my camera and i have been photographing everything I have created in recent weeks.  This post is pictures of a journal page i have done and is very personal.

I have been struggling with mental health issues for a number of years now and part of the way i deal with it is to self harm.  This only happens when i get very stressed and i find it a way of punishing myself for my perceived miss-givings.  Although i don't do it as often now thanks to the help of certain people in my life.

The blue background symbolises the sadness i feel.  The broken mirror card symbolises what i use to harm my self with and the barbed wire stamp does the same.  The bright flowers suggest that it's not bad all the time and i am starting to feel a little happier.  The butterfly suggests the same - it also denotes that even something as ugly as a caterpillar can turn into something beautiful like a butterfly and maybe some day i too can be a butterfly.

Thank you for letting me share this very personal issue with you and i hope you do not judge me too harshly for it - i have had several things happen to me (more than my family even knows about) and they were horrendous experiences and this, and other behaviours, is what i am left with

Thanks again
Jo xx
